Refund policy

At Mary Loves, we accept returns for store credit within 14 days of delivery. Due to the unique, vintage nature of our curated homeware pieces, we are unable to offer refunds to your original payment method.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Return request initiated within 14 days of delivery
  • Item is in its original condition, unused and undamaged
  • Item is in its original packaging (if applicable)
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Store Credit Policy

Approved returns will be issued as store credit to your account, which can be used for future purchases at Mary Loves. Store credit does not expire and can be applied to any items in our collection.

Exceptions

In addition to our standard return policy, we will also consider exceptions in the following cases:

  • Damaged items: If your item arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • Incorrect items: If you receive an item that is materially different from what was described or shown in the listing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

For damaged or incorrect items, we will offer a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement (if available).

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at mary@maryloves.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number in the subject line
  3. Specify which item(s) you wish to return and the reason
  4. Wait for our return authorization and instructions
  5. Carefully package the item(s) and ship to the address provided
  6. Retain your shipping receipt as proof of return

Processing Times

Once we receive your return:

  • Inspection: We will inspect the returned item(s) within 2-3 business days of receipt
  • Approval: If approved, store credit will be issued to your account within 5-7 business days
  • Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your store credit has been applied

For damaged or incorrect item claims:

  • Review: We will review your claim within 2-3 business days of receiving your email
  • Resolution: Once approved, we will arrange a replacement (if available) or issue a refund within 5-7 business days
  • Refund processing: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method and may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure your return reaches us safely.
